SUSTAINABILITY + ETHICS
Whilst we know that meaningful change does not happen overnight, we are making a conscious decision to look at our sustainability initiatives. Chosen by Tuchuzy is undergoing production development to debut a number of organic cottons and more sustainable yarns. While made in China, the Australian team works closely with the offshore factory, refining the garments against new standards.
Our online order mailing satchels are made of eco-friendly plant based materials and are completely compostable.
CHOSEN garments are also packaged in 100% biodegradable garment bags. Our garment swing tags are also made from recycled card.
CHOSEN works closely with offshore suppliers, whom we have long lasting relationships of up to 10 years, where we have visited each of our factories to ensure ethical practices and safe workplaces are at our forefront. Some of our makers have over 25 year’s experience, to ensure the highest quality products.
Transparency is important to us, and our aim is to share visibility of our design development & production process with you and the makers behind our garments.
CHOSEN was born by carefully curating wardrobe essentials, our mission is to create garments you will have in your wardrobe for years to come.
Our strategy is to only order minimal units, to minimise our garments ending up in landfill. We have also set up initiatives to trade end of line archive styles in our Archive store located in Bondi Beach, and we consciously donate stock.
We have introduced a focus on sustainable fabrications and fibres where possible. With the launch of our 100% organic linen story in 2023 along with our core program of tanks made from a recycled rayon blend.
